What’s next for LGBTQI+ Allyship?

Many strides have been made in terms of progress for the LGBTQI+ community in the past number of years. The biggest of course, has been the outcome of the Marriage Equality referendum. But there also continues to be greater focus placed on allyship in the workplace and a rise in the number of LGBTQI+ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) who drive activity, run events and implement positive, inclusive change for colleagues.

Join our virtual event which will feature experts in the area of academia and advocacy with a focus on emerging research and challenges facing the wider LGBTQI+ community across Ireland and beyond. Hear from the thought leaders in the areas of isolation experienced by older LGBTQI+ people, how the sporting world is becoming more inclusive and challenges for Intersex people in society. Our experts will provide tips on how workplaces and LGBTQI+ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) can impact these aspects in our society.

The virital event will feature speakers with a focus on areas including isolation experienced by older LGBTQI+ people, how the sporting world is becoming more inclusive and challenges for intersex people in the workplace.

This will be followed by a panel discussion where the audience can ask questions. It is aimed at those driving inclusion for LGBTQI+ people in the workplace – whether they are members of employee groups, managers or employees with a personal interest. Our panellists will be providing insights and practical advice on how organisations can support their LGBTQI+ employees in 2021 and beyond.

This event will take place Thursday 25th March at 1pm. If you are interested in taking part you can sign up here.
